If I was better at knowing how to do things on the blog site, I could have a special area for the things you can make at the shop. But I am not that smart, so this is the only way I can figure out how to put everything I have examples of, up for you to see. I will be able to add to this site, thankfully, as I get more and more things finished, so you won’t have to look all over the site for what is new in the class world.

Remember, you can do any of these projects at any time and anywhere. Just let me know when you want to come to the shop and what project you want to do, and we can set it up. I also do home classes. If you want a home class on a Friday or Saturday, I will need two weeks notice so I can arrange for someone else to work at the shop for me since those are the two days a week the shop is open. You are welcome always to come during business hours to work on a project, too. Just give me a head’s up so I can make sure I have everything you need to do the project you want (and to be sure I am there and not off doing a home class!!!)

Okay, without further ado, here are the projects I have available (all sewing projects will be pre~sewn so you don’t have to know how to sew) and every thing you need is included in the price unless otherwise specified.

These are just examples of how you can transform a vase or bottle into a funky piece of art. The cost is $10 for one large vase/bottle or two smaller vases/bottles. It would be less if you brought your own vase/bottle/etc. The pieces are decoupaged with napkins (I have over 200 different napkin choices).

These are just two examples of what you can make during the Beginner’s Rug Hooking Class. These little samples are 7×7 inches and are hooked with wool fabric that is cut into small, thin, strips. After taking this beginners class, you will be able to go and hook yourself a rug or a wall hanging or a pillow or whatever your heart desires. I teach you the basics and one specialized technique and the class includes the pattern drawn on cotton Monk’s cloth, a hoop, a rug hook, and all the wool strips needed to complete your project. I have every color imaginable of wool and can draw you whatever you would like to hook if you choose not to use one of the many examples I have available. As a beginner, you will want to keep your design simple and to fit into a 7×7 inch square or circle/oval. The class is $30 and includes everything you need.

This class is decoupaging napkins onto wooden crates. I have a selection of different sized wood crates for you to choose from along with over 200 different napkin designs. The cost for this class is dependent on the size of the crate you wish to do. It will vary between $12~$25 (I will get up some photos of the crates and their sizes ASAP). The crates are painted first and then decoupaged (the bird one is much more pinky/coral than my photo shows).

This delightful menagerie of critters are all made from muslin and then painted and waxed to give a funky look of grunge and leatherness! Each critter comes pre~sewn, and you stuff it, add the arms and legs, paint it and wax it and add any embellishments you want. Critters that have clothing can be either gender. Bears, cats, dogs, horses, are $15.00 for the class and the Fox is $18.50. I can also make a specialized pattern of your own pet for $25. The clothing is mostly made from vintage feed/flour/sugar sacks and you will get your choice of four designs (they, too, are already sewn). Everything you need is included in the cost of the class but you may purchase fun little odds and ends to embellish your critter including vintage charms and jewelry!

This is a seven piece wooden banner that is decoupaged with a different theme on each side. This one is an Autumn/Thanksgiving banner. I have over 200 different napkins in which to choose from including florals, geometrics, childrens, animals, sports team logos, holiday, super hero, unicorn, cartoon characters, beer&wine, and so many, many more! These flag banners are eight inches long and can stretch to eight feet wide….I also have triangle shaped ones and smaller versions of each. The large banners come with seven flags and twine to put them up with and the class is $20. I will post photos of the smaller banners ASAP and will be $10.

In the weeks to come, I will have many more projects listed. All will be as inexpensive as I can make them. I am out to make the world a more beautiful place by unleashing the inner artist in everyone and to make creating affordable for all.

Got an idea of your own that you would like to make? Just send me a photo and I can let you know if I have the supplies for it and can help you achieve the look you are going for. I am just an email/text away!!!!!
